Getting into the Game
Datafaction was delighted to be a sponsor of this year’s 41st Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard @ Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Golf Club & Lodge in Orlando, FL, a prestigious stop on the PGA tour. The tournament attracts some of the game’s greatest names, who are looking to showcase their skills in honor of golf legend Arnold Palmer. The tournament also incorporates charitable events such as the Champions for Arnold’s Kids Pro-Am Tournament, The First Tee of Central Florida Youth Day and Arnie’s March Against Children’s Cancer.
Spectators for the week-long event numbered over 100,000 and consisted of high-profile entertainers, individuals from Fortune 500 and Corporate 1000 companies as well as from family offices and sports management firms.
Colleagues from Datafaction and City National Bank hosted current and prospective clients at Club8, the 8th Hole Green hospitality tent. Chris Wyller and David Pizzutillo represented Datafaction and Andy O’Connor, a New York sports banker, and Mark Lerner, an Atlanta-based Relationship Manager, were on hand to represent City National.
Glenn Blackburn, CFO for Arnold Palmer Enterprises, visited with other guests throughout the tournament and introduced himself as a long-time Datafaction client. This was a great opportunity to showcase his relationship with Datafaction and demonstrate how Datafaction’s products and services support his business goals.
Overall the event was a great opportunity to support a worthy cause; all the colleagues who attended enjoyed getting to know those who stopped by our tent. We walked away with connections that will enable us to deliver value to clients and help them achieve their business goals through world-class technology and banking solutions.
This was the first time Datafaction sponsored the Arnold Palmer Invitational. As we continue to grow, we’re excited to engage in more new opportunities like this in the future.
